Why can't I drag a card out of In Progress?
Only the move from Pending into In Progress is a drag action, it starts the task. Every other transition happens automatically as the workflow reports back, or through the Retry button in Needs Attention.
My task is in Needs Attention, what do I do?
Read the short explanation on the card or in quick view, and use Retry when you're ready to try again. If it was halted on a decision (like a rejected review), you can add a short note that carries into the retry.
Who decides when a task moves between columns?
The workflow behind the coding agent does, Xara only displays whatever status it reports back and never overrides that decision itself.
Can I delete a task once it's already being worked on?
No, once real investigation has started on a task it's no longer eligible for deletion, the same rule that keeps it out of the Pending column also protects it here.
